Tomb of Ludovico Aldomorisco

The tomb is placed between the first two chapels on the right side of the basilica and was built to house Ludovico Aldomorisco, Admiral of the Kingdom of Naples and adviser to King Ladislas of Durazzo. The tomb is supported by four caryatids representing the children of the admiral in warriors’ robes. The relief shows the Virgin presenting the deceased to the Eternal Father.
