Elevation of the Garden Façade of the Hôtel de Montesson

The H�tel de Montesson, designed by Brogniart c. 1770, was a relatively modest h�tel just east of the Rue de la Chauss�e d’Antin, recalling the early work of Boull�e. At this building a battery of six smooth pilasters orchestrated an avant-corps of five windows, decorated with garlands and bas-reliefs, topped by a strong cornice.
