Marco Cozzi executed 124 wooden choir stalls, richly decorated with perspective intarsia scenes. The picture shows three of them.

The choir was a secluded space for the brothers’ private worship, intimately connected to the high altar. Easily accessible from the friary alongside, the wooden choir stalls offered warmth in the winter.
