FERNACH, Hans von
(b. ~1360 ?, d. ~1410 Milano)
German sculptor, one of a group of German sculptors working at Milan Cathedral during the 14th and 15th centuries. He also worked on the portals of Santa Maria Maggiore in Bergamo: he made the statues in the niche above the north portal, and collaborated with the workshop of Giovanni da Campione on the design of the south portal.
