Italian printmaker, active in Florence. He is known for his prints made after Bernardo Buontalenti’s designs for the festivities held in the Palazzo Pitti celebrating the 1589 marriage of Ferdinando I de’ Medici and Christine of Lorraine.

It shows the Court of Palazzo Pitti: three-story fa�ades at left and right and a two story fa�ade at the centre, ornamented with panels and statues in niches.
This etching depicts a mock sea battle designed by Bernardo Buontalenti (c. 1531-1608) and staged in the cortile of Palazzo Pitti (flooded for the occasion) as part of the festivities celebrating the 1589 marriage of Ferdinando I de’ Medici and Christine of Lorraine.
